What would I be doing at Pinnacle Medical Centres as a practicum student?
- During your time with Pinnacle Medical Centres, you will be introduced to a variety of valuable information that will help guide you through your new career. Students will have the opportunity to work closely with our clinic Site Lead, Nursing and MOA staff to gain valuable practical knowledge.
The Medical Office Assistant
Areas of focus are but are not limited to
- Managing the medical office
- Use of effective oral and written communication skills

- Ensuring patient data is accurate, current and kept confidential

In addition, you will receive training on our EMR system, and other various specialized software.

- All practicum students must ensure they are knowledgeable about Pinnacle Medical Centres Policies & Procedures and philosophies.
- Students are expected to adhere to a standard of professionalism in dress, written and spoken communication and demeanor.
- Students are expected to be on time/show up for their practicum placement.
